Iris Bukur Gonen

Iris recently joined TopGum as VP of Human Resources. She brings with her a breadth of experience in human resources from leading global companies.

In her previous roles, she provided insights and led HR initiatives to enhance employee engagement while remaining committed to achieving business results. She fulfilled a central role involving preservation and development of talent in order to ensure that each company had the right people, at the right time, and in the right place. She guided various companies in defining and building capabilities, qualifications, processes, and organizational structures. As such, she acted as a “change agent” – influencing, coaching, and supporting transitional processes within organizations, from the early stages of justifying any given change through the implementation and adaptation stages.

In her role at TopGum, Iris works to implement a culture that strengthens the connection between employees and their work, their colleagues, and the organization. She promotes an inclusive environment within which employees can maximize their potential contributions to the organization’s objectives and priorities. In her day-to-day work, she incorporates mentorship and feedback, while maintaining empathic and open communication founded upon trust, respect, and dialogue.

Iris holds a B.A. in Education and Hebrew Literature from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and an M.A. in Educational Counseling from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community as volunteer instructor and trainer in workshops preparing candidates for job interviews. She loves to read, travel, and do Pilates.
