Hagai was also executive adviser to the CEO of Mekorot and led the corporate strategy, government relationships, and the company’s investment committees. Further, Hagai worked as a commercial lawyer for Lipa Meir and Co., which specializes in bankruptcy and turn-arounds, after an internship in Justice Rubinstein’s chamber in the Supreme Court of Israel.
Hagai was a major in the Israeli Navy, commanding six patrol boats. He holds an MBA and an LLB, both with distinction, from The Hebrew University in Jerusalem as well as a BA in Economics and Logistics from Bar-Ilan University. He lives in Ra’anana with his wife and four children. He spends his free time reading, swimming, running, and engaging in charity work with Afikim to empower youth from low socio-economic backgrounds.
